Ordering

When an order is placed, FCA&C will send a confirmation order to the Supplier. The item will be delivered direct from the Supplier to the Customer. The Supplier will add their contact details to the delivery note. This is the point of contact if there is any problem with the order.

When the Product has been dispatched the Supplier will notify FCA&C.

Many of our products are made to order and will therefore be handmade on placement of an order by the customer. These orders normally take up to 14 days to deliver within the UK, with the exception of special commissions – please see below.

FCA&C is not liable for failure of a Supplier to deliver within the stipulated time.

Shipping

FCA&C intend ultimately to open up their online shop for international orders, but to begin with are limiting sales to the UK only. Please contact shop@fcac.co.uk for all correpondence relating to the online shop.

All printed material (eg exhibition publications) and artists' multiples will be sent out free of charge from FCA&C's office in St Andrews, Fife. Craft items will be sent out by the artist who made the work, mostly using an insured service, commensurate with their monetary value as well as their weight, although a few items of lesser value may include postage costs within their price. This will be stated in the description of the individual object.

Please see the Shipping Rates section for shipping costs.

Terms and Conditions

These terms which apply in connection with the ordering process should be read in conjunction with the Fife Contemporary Art & Craft ('FCA&C') website terms and conditions and the definite therein shall also apply to these terms.

Commissions

Some of FCA&C's suppliers are happy to make an item to commission. Details and costs would have to be discussed directly with the individual Supplier.

Returns / Refunds

If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, with the exception of earrings and commissioned items, FCA&C will offer a refund or an exchange as long as this is requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Non damaged goods must be returned to the Supplier in perfect condition, appropriately packed, and accompanied by the order confirmation. You will find find the address of the relevant Supplier to whom you should return any such non damaged goods on your delivery note.

If your goods are received in a damaged or faulty condition, please notify us immediately by emailing shop@fcac.co.uk. We will contact the Supplier and offer you either a replacement or refund.

Please take into account postage costs and shipping times when returning goods. FCA&C is not liable for postage, shipping or taxes due on returned goods, unless damaged or faulty, or if an error has been made on the part of the Supplier or FCA&C.

UK returns postage

In order for goods to be adequately covered while in transit, FCA&C recommends using first class post for returning publications (covers up to £36), and special delivery for returning craft products. With first class postage, ask for a certificate of posting from the Post Office at the time the products are sent - FCA&C and the Supplier will not be responsible for loss or damage of returned products during transit.

Cancellation of an Order

You have 7 working days 'cooling off' period after receipt of the goods to cancel the order. If for any reason you wish to do this, please do so in writing, by e-mailing shop@fcac.co.uk detailing your order number and informing us of your decision to cancel.
