Shauna Sturrock's collection of work is inspired by the traditional and elegant styles of the Victorian era. She graduated in Jewellery & Metalwork Design from Duncan of Jordanstone, University of Dundee, and now lives and works in the city, where she has been much influenced by its history. Having previously studied textile art, she combines papers, threads, inks, clay and acrylic to her jewellery designs, mixing the traditional techniques of metalwork and the contemporary techniques of textiles. Texture plays a huge part in her design process and through photo etching onto silver and laser cutting into acrylic she has been able to create a unique collection of work.
